David was born 1970 in New York, Influenced by John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner and John Carpenter. Starting on piano and drums by ear and later moving to guitar, playing performing and teaching. In the early 90s he attended SUNY Purcase College to study film and music. David’s work ranges from documentaries and shorts, to features and music videos. His latest production is a short film entiled ‘Up & Coming” - about the styles of electric guitar vs acoustic in contemporary music. His projects in development include producing and scoring the features; "Hollywood Dreams" and "Metal World" He is an accomplished musical composer and has scored and edited all of his own films including the feature length fantasy “The Traveler”. He is also adept in music production and video editing. David uses his vast sound libraries of Classical, Jazz, Rock, World, Bluegrass, Hip Hop, Electronica, House, Dance, Techno and Blues, along with live performances and compositions of himself on electric and acoustic guitar to breath life into the visuals that he scores and themes he writes.
